CCS OFFICE
THE DESIGN BRIEF
The project involved designing a digital advertising office space inspired by a New York style vintage loft aesthetic. The goal was to create a functional yet relaxed environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and productivity. The design needed to accommodate the operational needs of the directors and employees while offering flexibility for after-hours gatherings with business associates, employees, and friends. The space was envisioned to feel open, airy, and welcoming—balancing an industrial edge with warmth and comfort appropriate for a creative agency.

THE PLAN
The office was designed with an open-plan layout, ensuring clear sightlines and eliminating solid partitions or half walls to promote natural light, fresh air circulation, and a sense of spaciousness enhanced by tall ceilings. Glass partitions with a metal framework were introduced to subtly divide the reception, studio, and three cabins for the Conference Room, Business Director, and Creative Director. This division maintains openness while providing functional separation. A flexible design approach allows the office to double as a venue for after-hours gatherings. An entertainment corner featuring a foosball table provides employees with a space to unwind, supporting a balanced work environment. Generous passageways were incorporated throughout the studio, ensuring smooth circulation and encouraging informal interactions, which are essential for a creative workspace.

THEME
The office embraces a vintage New York loft theme with a distinct industrial character, combining raw, textured materials with warm, inviting elements. Exposed brick walls, concrete finishes, and metal-framed glass partitions establish an urban loft aesthetic, evoking a sense of openness and creativity. These industrial elements are balanced with solid wood furniture, adding warmth and grounding the design. To soften the industrial palette, Indian block print upholstery introduces texture and color, creating a harmonious blend of global and local design influences. A vintage switchboard system serves as a nostalgic focal point, enhancing the retro-industrial vibe.
The lounge-inspired conference room blurs the boundary between formal and informal spaces, reflecting the office’s adaptable nature. Designed to host creative discussions by day and relaxed social gatherings by night, this space perfectly encapsulates the dynamic essence of a modern creative agency.

THEME
The exposed brick walls and concrete columns, concrete flooring, solid wood furniture and metal accents were harmoniously fused with Indian block print upholstery. The idea was for the space to have an industrial look and feel at the same time make it warm, cosy and inviting. BnW construction photos of this space were framed and hung behind the armchairs. A vintage switch board system was adapted keeping the design ethos in mind.
